how i build links

what i like to do is search all the search engines for the keywords that i want to get listed for. make a list of all the sites that are in the top 10 pages and filter out the ones that are good websites and send an email requesting if they would like to exchange links

 

How does that work for you? I mean how many of the websites actualy exchange links with you?

 

I use the same method. Except I do not ask to exchange. I ask them if they would consider adding a site to their links page or other spot.

Sometimes they email back and say they will give me a link if I do the same for them.

Often they go ahead and put my link up without asking for an exchange. When they ask this I agree.

It is true that many of them will ignore your email, or perhaps spam filters will get you. Overall this method works, at least it does with content based sites.

thanks for the tips, but chances of being accepted to put our links on their sites are very low , cuz they are like "Big Guys" who wouldnt place our link on their sites unless we pay them or give them reciprocal.. ofcourse not all of them are like that.. but still .. its really hard to find good guys..

 

I think its not very much effective since most of the Webmasters reject 3-way linking.

 

There's no harm in trying. Even if you get a few, that will help. The big sites were small once and may well choose to help you out if you site is good.

 

The best way to get links quick is to submit them to directories. Make sure you target the right categories and you will then get quality traffic

 

dir submission is important for getting backlinks but link exchange can increase backlinks and traffic

 

Sounds like an interesting method if a little time consuming - if you're good at it you could probably make good money doing the same for other people. Have you considered that?

Most directory in germany got PR0. Rest of the Top positions are ebay and best price portals. Depends hardly on the Topic if there are some sites you can change links. In some cases its realy hard
