Yahoo answers is excellent, I have accounts just devoted just to this but you cannot leave affiliate links. When we started with Clickbank back in 08 we created a simple blog. There was 1 post that ranked top 3 on Google . The product which has been discontinued was something in the stock trading niche and payed out $60! We wrote an article not about the product but about a seminar that was coming up all over the country. This seminar was an expensive alternative to the Clickbank option. So we discussed the pros and cons of each ..compared the two and of course our beloved Clickbank product came out the victor. In three months we made enough to buy a small car.

With that said...maybe try a comparison type of website.. Find an alternative to the product you are marketing compare the two and make yours out to tbe the best option.

Build a squeeze page to collect email subscribers. Then send emails to them promoting your products.

 

I made my first sales on click bank using email marketing, its a wonderful thing. You can get a huge amount of free stuff online, find one, offer people in trade for the email address. People love free stuff. Once you have so many subcribers you can use adswaps to get the major traffic come rolling in.

Education is a very important thing, read up all you can about every aspect, try things out, learn where your interest lies in marketing, and you'll find your gold mine.

One good tool is cb-analytics.com. Search for products with a gravity of at least 30. That way you know people are at least making money with it.

 

The best thing to do is to find one method of advertising/marketing that you think can work and then just stick to it. If you try too many methods at once all of them will fail because you will not have enough time to make them all profitable. Make one profitable and then move onto another.

 

Your First step should be : Research!

Locate a HQ product on the Clickbank Market Place
Find related low competition keywords
Set Up a review site (You do not need your own website here, you simply can create a review video for YouTube, for example)
Promote your site (YouTube Video)

-use seo (onpage and offpage ) be aware to not get penelized by google
-start posting articles ( 2-3 every week)
-after 1 or 2 month you may have some traffic
-put some product reviews in your blog
-collect your visitors email by offering them some free stuff ( ebooks , reports, blueprint)
by now you can make money with your list or products reviews
-create 2 or 3 other websites
-seo them
make at least 10K $ / month

There are some really great tips here! I will add (some mentioned already) to create a wordpress blog. Do add a few posts (unique content) per week at first. Link within your site to different pages and offsite with quality backlinks. Make sure you have either banners or your link (clickbank hoplink) on your pages. Make sure your site is not too busy though. THE KEY IS TO DO GOOD KEYWORD RESEARCH FIRST! This is so that you can rank for some of your keywords first. Emailing a current subscriber list you already have can help too. Also you can try to rank with youtube videos directly to your site and/or directly to your hoplink. MAKE SURE YOU PICK A GOOD CLICKBANK PRODUCT THAT YOU CAN STAND BEHIND THOUGH! As you work (it will take some work), however, work on on another stream of income so you are not obsessed with checking your clickbank account to see how many sales you've made and watch the money roll in from both or all of your sources. Start by promoting affiliate other ppls offers, build up some money, reinvest that into creating your own product, test it, then give it to the market. I'm about to launch my first product.
