I used to write few years back but stopped writing couple of years back. I can say that practice is the key. The more you write, better you get.

There is always room for improvement. Look at your first sentence and examine it. You used the word "back" twice.
That is redundant and as a proofreader I would have to sanction you.

    My way of writing articles:
    1. I make some research
    2. I make a sketch of an article. The best way to do it is mind map because it gives you better outlook and supports your creativity. You can do it manually but I use computer program. It is faster and comfortable.
    3. I write an article without considering anything. If you start correcting your writing then it you will block you creativity.
    4. I take a break.
    5. I correct my article.

I use this way of writing and it allows me to write a valuable blog post in 1-1,5 hour. It also allows me to discover the new ideas.

Your level of writing is directly proportionally to the amount of time you spend reading.

Now that you've already reached a level where you can write good articles yourself, it is time to go one level up ... you can train some mediocre writers to improve their quality and let them work for you .. you'd have to spend only a few minutes to proofread what they write and make little changes to get quality content at a much lower price.

Absolutely true, if you aren't after short profit. Good-written articles can attract traffic for years.
Developing writing habits and culture is very important in the long run, as well as analytic skills and concentration.

I usually put outlines to write an article or whatever content I am trying to create. However, my native language isn't English and I find myself writing long and very complex sentences to express a simple idea. I know that I need to practice more and the tips that @AdamSocial mentioned would be very helpful. But for now, I am thinking of putting drafts with content outline and hire a professional to write the full text, this would result in a better written and attractive article. Do you think this idea would work? I never worked with freelance writers before. What could be the pitfalls?
    Thanks

I don't think spending every waking minute reading and writing is necessarily the most productive way to get better. Learning to read and write with a critical eye -- that's the key. Next time you read something, think about the choices the writer made, if they worked or not and how you might do it differently.

I'd say - start on your own, but to scale you need to keep track of the process, then let other people implement it.

    Hi Conran, :)

I literally trembled, just by reading this portion of your post: "... I can easily
write anywhere between 10 - 20 thousand words each day."

    WOW!

May I say once again, "WOW." :).

I am completely impressed with your strong self discipline.

And I am motivated to now try to get my act together, and get moving
    ahead with my writing career.

By the way, Conran, I am still a bit new to this form, so if I messed up my
effort of trying to link a "reply" to your post, for heaven sake, please
forgive me. It was not intentional in the least. :)

    Thank you in advance.

But great post. I was truly motivated from reading it.

Excellent information! I couldn't agree more with what you said. In addition, I'd like to add that with good quality, unique and consistent content, you won't even have to market your site to get traffic. I don't advertise my website at all; just post something unique on a daily basis and I get over 2k unique visitors a day on my site.
