Great post. Great idea. Great advice. Thanks for sharing the information, really useful for me.... I'm new for this site hope u have more to share..
That's correct, all of the items come from Amazon. No worries about drop shipping, warehousing, or any of the other headaches typical retailers go through. thanks, PuReWebDev
we do use open-source software like php, linux, apache & mysql. Thank you, it was and is a lot of work. thanks, PuReWebdev
Wow, this thread is an exhausting read, particularly from the whiny customers...reminds me of Tim Ferriss' 80/20 customer rule. Anyway, your patience and maturity in answering and handling the users here has me sold. I will look to sign up very shortly. I have a small site that gets me about 15 bucks a month in amazon commissions, but I would love to make more. I'll be in touch.
PuReWebDev, This might be the best post I've read on this forum. Maybe I missed the answers somewhere in this long thread, but I have two questions: 1) How do you promote your site? - and - 2) Could you expand on this tip: Because that's exactly what I've done with my site -- put a lot of content around it, written reviews of my own experience with products available on Amazon. For example . . . http://tech.spotcoolstuff.com/gadget/kindle/ I guess my worry with opening an e-commerce store -- like the excellent one you've built -- is that there wouldn't be much reason to go there as opposed to going directly to Amazon. Thanks!
Interesting share. Always good to see people sharing with the community or any community in fact. Helps immensely!
Ok, but could you also reveal how much traffic does it take you to generate those figures? And do you pay for it?
