It seems to me that videogame collecting (retrogames), is the biggest hobby today for the 10 to 30 years olds.

I estimate that 1 in 4 in the above age group, play videogames, and 50% of those own and play a variety of obsolete, retro consoles.

It is unbelievable the sort of prices old obsolete games, sell for on ebay, and at the right price, almost any game will sell.

Presently I think it is coming in third, behind stamps and coins, but it seems to be growing fast.

    What do you think?

Hmm 50% is a pretty high number, i dont think that every 2. gamer is playing retro consoles. More and more people are joining the actual game generations like PS3 and xbox 360. I think these young people aged 15-18 are not collecting retro games. But I think it is a growing hobby, as the old games are getting very rare and hard to get. thats what makes it a challenge to a collector to be able to get all the games.
