    I am in Chennai, known for its hot and humid weather and the temperature hovers around 40 degree Celsius most of the time. Thank God, we live in air conditioned comfort; otherwise, it would be horrible...

    Lately it has been over 100 degrees fahrenheit here in Central Texas. Normally it doesn't get this hot but this summer has been the hottest in many years. Several days this month it has been 105 degrees. I feel like I live in Death Valley lately. However, as a previous poster mentioned, I am lucky enough to have air conditioning to make life relatively comfortable and swimming pools/swimming water parks/lakes all within 15 minutes of my house.
