    Hello,

I have been advertising some of my sites and the advertising have been bringing in 800-1k more in uv's a day. This has added 150-250 more clicks a day and increase adsense earning. I have noticed a much higher CTR. How high to much and will google be mad cause of the traffic I am bringing in is clicking more on the ads the before?

the traffic is from a network of sites. which complies with the TOS. I am just a little worried. maybe i am being paranoid.

There's no figure that's right or wrong, although you're probably right that a sustained jump in CTR will attract extra attention from AdSense. I'm just guessing here, but I'd say anything approaching 20% would be worthy of closer scrutiny. If it's genuine ad clickers from an allowed source you shouldn't have anything to worry about (in theory).

Any high CTR like 20% will get your site closely watched but if the traffic is legitimate then you have nothing to worry about.

Thats yeah it is sitting between 10% and 15% but the traffic is legitimate. I have emailed them saying to expect a jump because I have been experimenting with advertising. Though now I am going to use it full time on a site.

But the CTR % is for page views.. for actually UV's it is more like 1 in 7 - 1 in 8 uv click on an ad. But they do look around the sites a lot.

I am just nervous because the earning is going up and it has not been this high for me and I want to keep my account thats all.

even 30% can be a legitimate CTR, it's all about the kind of traffic you have.
And of course a 1% CTR can be illegal...if you are clicking your ads ;)

As far as it's genuine, it's fine.
You won't see anywhere 20% is too high or something like that.

Here's what you need to do :

Send Mail to A Google Adsense Representative stating that you have a high CTR and suspect some invalid click activity on your account . Ask them to check if the site is following all TOS rules .
