How have Facebook ads worked out for you?

I've never tried advertising through Facebook and am currently in the process of setting it up.

How has advertising through Facebook worked out for you? Is there anything I should be wary of? What has helped your ads become successful?

 

I am also looking at Facebook advertising so I would also be interested in any responses.

I use Google Ad Words to target customers that are looking for my product, and I am intending on using Facebook for brand awareness amongst Friends and Family, who will help with Word of Mouth advertising.

 

Facebook Ads used to be good, but I've not used them for a year as they became too expensive to monetize.
Used to be able to get 1 cent clicks but no chance anymore.

 

Actually Facebook Ads are very cheaper than any social sites. You can monetize in the beginning. It is very difficult to have conversion.

I've read an article saying that 80% of the click on Facebook Ads are fake. It's kinda scary!
