im sure no one can answer this exactly, but does anyone have an idea how cssvault.com has maintained their pr9 for more than a few updates now?
I wonder if when google discounts the external links, it also counts them as no follow, and therefore doesn't take away the pagerank. Any reason this was posted in the directories forum? (maybe it should be moved?)
i found 3 pr10 sites(www.csail.mit.edu, www.keio.ac.jp ,www.ercim.org) and 12 pr9 sites on http://www.w3.org/QA/
I think what he meant was that, more contents, more pages, giving more backlinks with unique contents, (stays in the main google index), at the same time, more people links to it due to the good contents... etc etc. IMO.
i dont think u guys noticed, but the site has been in its stage for overhaul for a while now... so no it doesnt have any fresh content i dont beleive... the homepage has stayed the same for at least a 2-3 months now
http://checkpagerank.net/index.php?name=cssvault.com/&links=1 See that. Don't think much has happened in the last few months. But earlier it was regularly updated. Check the archive section and you'll get a better idea . May be they've lost interest in that site now ~G
