Just like the subject says, how has marketing change you as a person? For me, it has made me become more educated about how people can be persuaded. It has also made me more responsible especially when it comes to sales. I'm interested in knowing other people's personal experience with marketing so let's have a discussion about it!

As you mentioned in your post, marketing has given me more insight into human nature as well. It's also interesting to see how marketing has changed from traditional marketing to digital marketing in just a few decades. Marketing is a great place for an entrepreneur to start I think because of the direct contact with consumers, the patterns of engagement/buying, and the organization required to manage multiple marketing campaigns at once.

I´ve been doing this internet marketing thing since 2003 and I can´t for my life understand why I didn´t start sooner. This has changed my life, I mean what can beat the dot com lifestyle? Nothing. In what other business can you make money from the beach from around the world? Since I skipped the rat race back in 2009 I am now healthier and happier than ever.. I love this lifestyle.

Yes I think I read somewhere that for ebooks, the estimated profit in total will reach $8.6 billion by the end of this year. It's really interesting to see the different products that people have came up with now that we live in the Information Era. Have you ever taken a formal marketing class or did you learn online?
Exactly! This lifestlye is so comfortable and at the same time it teaches you new ways to grow! For me personally, it has in a way "forced" me to expand my knowledge in a certain subject to stay ahead. I bet your friends were shocked at how easy you worked lol!

    Hello Durell,

I am certified as an Inbound Marketer from HubSpot. I also have an Associate of Arts Degree which I use daily in my content creation projects. As for ebooks, I love them and I think it's great that literature is so open for the very first time in history, the marketing potential for these items seems limitless at this time.

Marketing is a broad term so it is a never ending process of learning.
Every niche/field of marketing is a learning.
Marketing taught me to be competitive and how to adapt to changes.

This is all very interesting! I saw a documentary a few weeks ago about entrepreneurs and how capitalism basically "forces" us to shun greed. If you want your customers to keep coming back, you have to create quality products with unparallel customer service. That's the exact opposite of greed. So my next question is how has your perception of customers change as you progress in your marketing ventures? For me, as I experience more with customers I feel more connected with them to the point now where I feel a great joy helping people out. What are your opinions?
