Put quotes around the term "california health insurance" and you get 551,000 results. That's a more accurate idea of what you're up against. Also, the companies that are up there seem to really know what they're doing, so i don't know if I agree that it would be "easy". I guess it depends on what your definition of easy is. Do you have much experience in the SEO field? It will definitely take a lot of work but i'm sure it can be done. You might want to also pick a major city to shoot after as well. I had a friend of mine target "New York" keywords on his website and I stuck to local ones (Long Island, Staten Island - both are in New York). He's not ranked on much and I'm ranked on everything, and I get about 3x the traffic he does. So I'd suggest having 2 targets. I work on a lot of insurance websites, so if you have more questions, feel free to pm me :)

Should be relatively easy if you know SEO. Goodluck.

    hey,

well if you want to make a 2 months old website into 6 months old then make sure you need to get as much backinks as you can. But in this scenerio you will try to get as many free links to your website as possible. It might be the case that google's crawler might recognize your website as spam and thus it will be kept into google sandbox...

The other thing, google's authority to old domains...now you cannot get this from anywhere or if you want this then you need buy some older domains...
