Ok, so .. pretty easy question for someone who lives in USA !
How hard it is to find a job ? No need to talk about skills and similar things - I'm thinking about moving to USA, but I can't find any information about living costs and employment !

    Anybody ?

Living costs and employment are all over the place. An equivalent house in California compared to mine in the Midwest is 5x difference or more. There are more computer programming jobs in Boston and Silicon Valley than in the Midwest. So it all depends on where you want to move.

(btw, the link in your sig is wrong. Microsoft will NOT release Gazelle. That's a research project only and will never see the light of day.)

    What ?
Then maybe you can give me at least 1 link where I could find this information ( as you know where it is ) ?
** About Microsoft - no one will spend millions just for fun .. If they will not make it today, they will make it tomorrow ( abstract numbers ) ;)

I would say that there're always H1B visa, although it is true that normally all H1B visas are asked for by April 1st each year. However, if you possess a master degree or higher, then there're always additional visas available.

H1B's are visa's which let you work in USA, with a normal visa you can only visit, stay and come back.
With the Economic downturn USA administration is focusing on giving jobs to locals rather than immigrants.

It seems OP is on a mission in trying to accomplish the most difficult task on the planet Earth...Trying to get a job in America! lol... :p

On a more serious note, American economy is getting worse day by day and locals are anyway furious at jobs going outside and to outside people. Why do you want to make their task all the more difficult by depriving them of one more job?

    Regards,

Skilled people will always find some job wherever they go but finding the right job for your qualification is difficult, especially during the time of recession. If you have the will, there is a way...

It depends on where you live. Where I live, job hirings is about 1/2 or less than what it normally is around this time of the year, half of which are in the medical field. Overall its much harder to find a job now.

Getting a job here in the US has it's ups and downs. It all depends on where you are trying to apply for.

    http://www.payscale.com/cost-of-living-calculator

That website will just tell you the cost of living from state to state. You might be able to use it to help you understand the living costs in the states.

True, and actually .. that's the reason why I was thinking about this - it's impossible to find a job here ( even if you find one, you can't make a living from it ).
You want to say that it's better not to think about this at the moment, as no one wants to see new faces there ?
