Hi, this is just a question out of curiosity. I recently released a press release, and Google just picked it up within the first 9 hours. I hear a lot of people talking about how "hard" it is, but really it's simple. I am thinking about coming out with a "little" report about it, but wasn't sure if I should. I just wanted to collect your thoughts on this.
There are a number of requirements, but they are easily overcome if you know what you are doing. I have succeeded time and time again and have helped many create sites that were approved in days. In fact, I wrote a step by step guide to doing just that.
We had to move to a dedicated server our first month of being in Google News. We were on a shared server and it kept crashing because of the traffic that we were getting. It comes in spurts. When one of your articles makes the homepage of regular google under the news results section, then your site will get bombarded until it gets knocked off. We have had huge days with financial articles where we were on the front page of google for hours for a keyword that would have normally cost about $8 a click on adwords. There are thousands using the method.
I contacted you a few months ago, to buy your guide to getting my site listed in to google news. Can you send me the info needed to complete this transaction please?
There are some ridiculous sites that are accepted. I wish mine were accepted but they have something against blogs I think.
