Sometimes I might go weeks without doing anything, other times when I am I spend most of time infront of notepad++ doing PHP and html which is usually when I am improving the code base of sites or adding new features/updating the template or something. I've been in front notepad since about 11 am today getting ready to rollout a new code base improvement on my site and build a new template with Smarty and to improve site usability and also to make it more easy update the static content t of the site. so already 8 hours of programming. I also use a whiteboard while working. I know that it cannot be done in one day, I may do this for several days until its complete, roll out the changes then take a break for a few weeks.
Must be nice. What's a weekend? I do webhosting. I contract out my first and second level tech support but I still have to provide someone for at least 8 hours a day for billing purposes. (ie Someone's check bounces.) I spend most of that time answering support forum questions, installing of software, bug fixing, programming and the like. (We do managed hosting and take care of all of the software installs and upgrading.) Any free time I spend on whatever video game I'm playing at the time (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic currently) and looking for business related forums to post in.
I spend almost all day working and I am only making 4 digits. I have only been doing this for four months and it is bugging me that I can hit a 5 digit a day earnings. I don't even spend that much so I don't know why I want more. I guess it is the idea of power that is infectious.
Work smart is preferred, work hard but no at the right way is a waste. Work hard in the right way is the point
I always try to enjoy the things I do and so they do not appear too much tough and hard for me to accomplish! Regards, RightMan
Lifeplayer; Really, so where is the work you promised by end of June? Why have you not responded to any emails? You need to respond / finish the work you took the money $xxx for in early June or refund it. Otherwise, disputes will be opened
I work probably about 60 hours a week on my online ventures - buying & selling domain names, creation & promotion of mini-sites. My mini-sites are increasing in revenue every month. I only earned $150 last month so don't expect to make a fortune immediately. It takes a lot of time and work to get your sites to the top of the rankings and bringing in the traffic and revenue. However once it's happened it will be well worth it. My goal is also to have my mini-sites earning me $100 a day with adsense. Once that has happened I can afford to focus solely on them full time and look at creating other revenue streams with them that will increase the revenue more than just with adsense.
I wish to do internet marketing as long as possible. But sometimes I'm too busy doing other jobs. I think I never spend more than 2 hours/day focusing on my blog alone, that is bad. My ranks rise slowly.
I work about 10 hours a day on week days, and 13 hours a day on weekends, you have to have time to chill and relax and enjoy yourself or there is no point working for you money and not to enjoy yourself. -Z-
I work about 6-7 hours per day only when i have ideas, but sometimes my time spent on this is not so productive as it should be.
