8 hours, this is a good amount of time. I work as a freelancer i generate $500/day. For a single person investing 8 hours/day, is a good amount of time. I think you are not investing your time in a good way. Working on with adsense dosent make any sense. You must tryout something else with that. If you are not able to offer any kind of services, start promoting other's products. There are good number of ways you can earn a lot online. All you have to HIT THE BALL at the right time, and SCORE HOME RUNs. You better requests DP member to review you websites, and ask for suggestions. best of luck.
I don't really work that hard the majority of the time, but then I don't really get much money I'm a freelance writer, so when I recieve jobs I'll work really hard to get them completed, but the rest of the time I don't really work much at all. I'm always thinking about new ideas though...
I usually work from 8am to 8pm every day (7 days a week). But it's not terribly stressful, because it's stuff that I truly enjoy working on. And I make sure to take a lot of breaks during the day, including going out for a run, bike ride, lunch at the beach, etc. I don't really consider it work (because my hobby is my work), so I'm thankful for that.
As often as I can. The family is sometimes put off but they understand that the benefits outweigh the costs.
as a good friend of mine once said. "created it and they will come" xD if your content is good. then you don't have to work as hard... I work alot on marketing and getting traffic. that's because I run a forum and content is really created by the users and moderators.
Too hard! Actually it varies. I go through very manic and busy periods, and then relax things to recharge the batteries. Just depends on whether I have a project on the go and at what stage the project is at. My advice is don't overdo it though. If you do, you end up resenting the work and it ceases to be any kind of fun.
Lately I haven't been working very hard. Guess I've been stressing daily for so long that I needed this kind of break. Now I'm spending around 2 - 4 hours/day working...
I work a lot. 7 days a week usually. To the OP, it's not just the amount of work you do, but *what* you're focusing your time and energy on that determines your results. IOW, some people work REALLY hard, but on the wrong things. Other people are sitting at the computer "working", but they're checking their e-mail every few minutes or otherwise distracting themselves. They've spent lots of time "working" but got very little done.
Yeah, I guess that's what I'm doing wrong. But its difficult trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I tried to fit whatever time I have into putting more content into my site. I would say my times varies from 1 hr to several hours to a whole day sometimes.
i have to attend my engg classes too plus the assignments rarely get time nowadaz but trying to manage
I worked very hard sometimes I sleep late like early mornings already and yet get unstable income in freelancing however, I think that one day all of these things will pay off if I just pay attention to it.
I don't think its correct way to earn. You should change your method of making money coz current method you use is inefficient.
OK I wanna sidetrack a little here. A lot of people include unproductive things they do in between as work too. Like checking emails 10 times an hour and watching youtube, checking facebook. If you install software like www.Rescuetime.com , you will be surprised how unproductive you are. With that said, I do about 2-4 hours of productive work everyday.
I go through times where I work very little and other times where I work too much. Adsense as a business model is not the best idea. Monetize through multiple different channels.
Adsense is a horrible waste of time. You have to build up a site to the point where it's popular enough to get enough traffic so you generate several ad clicks a day just to make a couple of dollars. A much more effective use of your time is to promote cpa or affiliate niche sites which only need smaller amounts of targeted traffic to make 10 times more money a day. I just don't see what everyone's fascination with adsense is. I work all day long, but I can also take time off to go to the beach whenever I want to, since I make a living from home selling affiliate products.
what are the keywords you are targeting? what tool are you using to find the keywords? you could be targeting the wrong ones. possibly. and like what was previously mentioned monetized it in other ways too. cpa is huge right now and affiliate programs.
It's the same problem though. Everyone and his grandma made a site targeting the whole "meso"-whatever keywords trying to cash in on that, but you still have to spend the time promoting your site to get traffic, to get clicks, to still make only a few dollars a day. I can spend that same amount of time doing the same amount of keyword research on an affiliate niche and make gobs more money that I ever would even with a high paying adsense site. It's just the reality of marketing online that you have to think smarter instead of working harder.
