I've just posted a topic on my blog on how competition is great. I've decided to post this subject here to see what's the forum community's opinion on it.

I'm pretty sure everyone here is familiar with competition if you're in the business section of this forum. Every company you see out there today is always competing on who can provide the best services/products to build their brand and even to make more money. The more money they make, the better it is for them. :)

Do you often see yourself competing with other blogs, websites, or businesses the same as yours? Just random thought to see what people opinions are.

Well, the first site in my signature (PS3Tag) was in competition with another site, but we bought them out later on :D. Now, we're focused on competing with established video game blog sites, instead of the main focus of our website, which is PS3 Gamercards. I guess that's kind of good, because now that the competition on one side is non-existent, we've opened up to focusing on another side of our site more.

I love competition though. It's so fun competing with another website. It's an endless battle of trying to outdo one another, so your site keeps on improving.

That's a pretty great way to beat the competition. :p

Yup putting more features in your website can help in both sides and then the best feature that you provide would obviously make your website more popular.

I'm pretty sure Apple sells more iPods than desktops and desktops was the first thing they came out and sold. Providing more services/products does actually help.
