Does anyone have any idea how google display this type of result, where apart from listing the page it is also listing various links. Is there any way you can optimize you site as well to show such results on google search query.
Still looking for help in understanding same. If someone knows how to try to get the same results please share.
these are call site links n its all upon google when and what type of site links google give to ur site or not.
there are two factors for SITE LINKS 1) if your website is structured categorized PROPERLY 2) if your website's reputation is very good in search engines eyes.. only then you can get site links... and its all upon google that when it will give site links and for which words/keywords
I agree with amariscole. Basically Google decides what links are relevant and are displayed like that, and they do that by assessing how important/authoritative your site is, and they look at what pages on your site look important/relevant. It is tough/difficult but essentially you need to structure your site correctly and build links to your root domain and some of your other pages as well. In time, as you do more SEO for your site, you can get that listing, and it does wonders for building credibility for your site/brand/business. It's also worth mentioning that this is explained quite nicely in the Google webmaster tool. It is always a good idea to hook your site up to Google webmaster tools as well. It's one of the first things I do when creating a new site.
I think the exact operation of the Google algo, including the sitelinks is a big secret so that people do not manipulate the rankings. However letz look at some examples understand where Sitelinks come from. I've worked on a number of sites with Sitelinks, and these sites are similar in the following ways: Site ranks first for the keyword(s) that generate the Sitelinks listing. The site has a proper structured navigation. Completely high and 100% natural search traffic. High click through rates from the search results page. Useful outbound links. Inbound links from high quality sites. Site age should be several years old. This is the list which is perfect for a web marketing program, so I hope using the list to guide our strategy will probably help our sites become more effective in every case.
when a website is large enough, or has enough search volume...Google will add sitelinks. How to meet this criteria I do not know....but there is a place in webmaster tools to actually edit your website's sitelinks Dashboard -> Site Configuration -> Sitelinks
it's fully automated thing. google automatically create it if your website is very stable for some keyword. and yes you can edit them in webmastertools
These are called sitelinks and google generates them automatically for high authority websites which are highly relevant to the searched term...
