How google see .com and the contry domains ?

    How google see the country domains compared with .com. For example if my content is in Italian the .it domain will be seen better than a .com? Do you know some tricks when is about pages in other languages than english.

    Also, there is a way to tell google that my pages are in italian ?

    i think google uses the words on the site. if the most of the words on the page is italian, i think google thinks that page is italian:)

    Goggle knows if a website is italian or not following these rules (there may be much more):

    a. The tld, eg: .it means Italy,
    b. The location of the server where your site is hosted
    c. The language of the site's content
