How google measure page size ?

Hello DPians,

I am bit afraid of my page size (which google currently showing in his SERP), this happened in recent update by google, Before the page size was only 53K now its 82k.

Can any body help me in finding, How google measures the page size ? Is there any tool available from which i can calculate my page size (same as google do).

google measure the page size depend on ur sites .html page content

so p'se apply this trick

open ur sites > top on file bar > save page as > then .html saved it > check this page properity

 

Thanks "devat", is there any other tool by which i can know exactly how to decrease my page size...?

 

Try using include files.
Use smaller graphics/images.
Cut down code using CSS.
