Google instant search is most burning topics at present but very few information provided about the new instant search. what is the advantage of new instant search .
Hmm...the advantage could be significantly for ordinary user but not for advanced or webmaster / internet marketer. It would help user to see the results much faster even the typing on keyword is not done yet. However, I would assume this will cause a negative to websites since sometime the user just stop when they found something from an unfinished typing keyword and your website did not rank for that unfinished phrase. It will reduce the chance for your website to be found unless your website has enough authority and rank in first page for most relevant search terms they typed.
From word around the office, it seems to take people longer to find what they are looking for because they start looking at all the results as they list.
I haven't dealt with it much as it's not my cup of tea I guess. It would seem that the shorter phrase would get more hits because they are displayed and the user quits typing and clicks the results. I agree with Sxperm with what they said, maybe good for the user but bad for a marketer. Also what about PPC? Impressions that appear as your typing would drive CTR down if your an adwords advertiser. Meaning your Quality score could actually drop costing you more money per click.
