    Google is gradually integrating the plus to its other products. For instance google maps is now in plus. Google may use other such services with it as well. Also it may start ranking based on how many plus users rate a website.

    Google+ is not only a social networking site. It gives you another advantage you didn't expect you could have: many times the articles you have just posted at Google+ appear at the first page of Google when a user types in its main keywords.

    I saw this happening with many of my articles, but not with all of them. I don’t know which ones are preferred by Google or why.

    However, it’s good to know that Google as a search engine pays attention to your posts at Google+ and displays them on the first results page sometimes, for some reason.
