can you compete with the manpower google has in their R&D section. If you can, then be part of google itself or start a parallel company :)

    Best of luck

Yes, this is possible. If you notice this, simply contact google and explain what happened, they will understand and not ban your account.

Then you can block the IP :)

Perhaps he is concerned and does not want to lost his account? Maybe he takes care of his possessions? Maybe he wants to keep his online business alive?

WhatUDo, the OP is asking how to detect click frauds on his site by webmaster himself. if he had ideas like you said, i think he would be more interested in how GOOGLE tracks click fraud so he can maybe find a way to circumvent that.

    :)

I read that we can create channels for URL. But can we create a channels for a particular ads so that I can track which ad layout and position is more useful and powerful.

yes you can. it's under Channels, the one below URL channels (i forgot what's it called). you set a name for the new channel (say, AdUnitLargeRectangleTop). then go to your adsense for content code window, set all the criteria for the new unit, and set AdUnitLargeRectangleTop as your channel ID. coipy and paste the code generated.

next time someone clicks on the Large Rectangle At The Top Of My Page you can see it in the reports. :)

Good advice. It took me a while to figure out how to find a channel id.

It's the one under URL channels, it's called Custom Channels. Just create the channel and then get the ad code, the channel ID will be in the code.
    :)
