    Hi

How google determines Invalid clicks? Is it by detecting the IP registered and Checking IPs of Clicks recieved. If then Dial up users will not be detected?? They are not having static IP?

My guess: IP of visitors, number of clicks per internet servicer, few clicks in a row, suspicious CTR...

If a person clicks an ad, but then doesn't wait for the page to load or is there for only a second or two, the click is invalid.

^^ Not Sure About That..The Moment one clicks on an ad,It first informs google (googadservices.com tto be precise),the PUB No. And Ad and then redirects you to the URL

    in short
    1. lots of clicks in short time span from one ip
    2. high CTR
    3. doesn't allow the new page to load
    4. lots of clicks coming from a range of ip ( range of ip which can be assingned to you if you using dial up..just an example)

    and a lot more..

Google has access to a massive amount of data from a variety of sources.

They have plenty of ways to determine invalid clicks.

    IP.
    Brower.
    Geographical Location.
Number for pages viewed since browser was open.
    Time.

And a whole lot more. Perhaps thre referrer?
