I didn't read through all the points listed but I disagree with points 2 & 3. CTR can be higher than 10% and you'll be fine with Google. Clicks from the same town you live in won't do you in either.

    great post!

I highly doubt that we have to worry about point 12 ..
Premium publishers have to worry about that, but we are not responsible if the click conversion is low. I don't think that I referred many visitors to a single site.
I referred visitors to a lot of different sites... the conversion rate could be pretty low.

Good article till i read your CTR myth.

CTR wont impact your account unless those are all invalid clicks. If you are getting 30% CTR legitimately, google has no issues with it. We all know that getting 30% CTR is kinda difficult anyways.

I'd also like to add one thing. According to wikipedia, google is criticized for putting lasting cookies. Meaning that, (i think) even if you delete your cookies, they stay.

Terrific article. However I will say I have a site that routinely preforms over a 10% CTR and google seems to be fine with it. Generally speaking, you will never be penalized for legitimate clicks. Regardless of the CTR.

Well, the irony is the author of this article got his adsense account banned and came here to ask me for help to get his account reinstated.
