    Google knows that there are pages on websites. and of course you can see both websites and their pages ir SERPs

    nope they still consider them as part of a one website because of it home page.. but google can rank them differently..

    No, since they all your sub-pages are still belonging to your domain name.
    One domain name is ALWAYS only 1 website, however each sub-page can have different PageRank.

    Google used to consider each page as a separate website. but that was years ages ago.

    Google very well takes all pages as part of one website and predicts the context of each page depending upon other pages in the website.

    Google does not consider each page as separate website. If you know some thing about SEO services then you can see that we have to create robots.txt file to manage different folders and files.

    Each page is it's own page, but they're all together treated as a website. So, the domain has some overall influence in individual page rankings. However, the pages are still viewed as content on their own. Competing pages on the same website won't all show up in the results, but two might, usually with a "View more from" link.
