How good will this be for a new site??

    My partner currently has 4 PR4's 1 PR5 and 1 PR6....2 are .edus.

    How good will this be for a brand new site if I get 1 way links from these 6 websites before I even submit to the SEs?

    No need to submit your site to the search engines with those links, you'll be indexed in no time.

    I wouldn't recommend submitting your site to the search engines anyways (at least the big ones, Google, Yahoo, MSN), it's always better to get them indexed naturally.

    No need to submit it to SE's manually,I guess these links are enough to get it indexed in a day or two,probably.

    i think you must do both of them.

    in my opinion, get one way backlinks from your partner and make also submissions to other sites

    Did your friend develop them into that PR status ??
    Or... did they purchase them at that level ??
