sometimes making a couple of changes to such tasks can have a great effect! How Good Is Your Article Writing Technique? Whats's your score? http://www.articlesbase.com/interne...iting-how-good-is-your-technique-1015610.html
As for me? I must say that I have a pretty good article writing technique which only me who knows about it lol.
Ok suggestions, but not great. There was no mention of paragraph layout, sentence structure, or anything else. I try to write most of my articles in a 5 paragraph, essay style, college level layout. Sometimes the articles are in a 2 or 3 paragraph layout, sometimes its 6 paragraphs. But the structure and layout is still the same. The length of the article should vary depending on your targeted audience. Listing your sources of information adds credibility to the article. If you use a website for information for the article, you should provide a link to backup your statements. The article looks like it was written on a middle school or high school level. You need to move past that and write the articles on a college level. And with that comes spell checker, citing your sources, sentence and paragraph layout, no run on sentences,,,,, and correct grammar.
By the way forgot to mention my reaction to your article though, you focused more on the "I" and praising yourself that you have great writing skills. Maybe being neutral on the topic and share the different techniques used by world-renowned writers can be good than having an article written in that manner is kinda baseless.
looks like your skills aren't as good as you think. the grammar and punctuation in that article is horrible... maybe you should take some of your own advice.
This response proves that you do not understand the concept of article writing. The length of the article should vary depending on your targeted audience. LOL!
Depending on the education level of your targeted audience, that will determine the length of the article. People with low reading skills and a junior high to high school education are less likely to read a long article. Mainly because they do not like to read. This is especially true in junior high and high school dropouts. College graduates are more likely to read a longer article because they have better reading skills (then the drop outs), may understand more of what they read and may enjoy reading. Take two people - 1 can barely read, 1 can read on a college level. Now which one do you "really" think is going to read a 1,000 word article? One of them can barely read, much less comprehend an essay style article. Most of my articles are written for people that have some kind of college education. The sentence structure is complex, but fluid. With most articles averaging between 500 - 1,500 words. People that have a junior high or basic high school education might find my articles unpleasant to read. That is because the articles were not written for them.
I always dumb down my articles simply because you have to think about the ability of those who read articles. Most article writes do not get decent traffic and sales for their efforts. My main focus for the article was that most make mistakes with the article title, article summary and article resource box. As per the responses in this thread many think an article should be a mini masterpiece. Those “in the know†realise this is complete nonsense. A high percentage of those who read articles will have an average or below English reading level or in many cases not even have English as their first language. By simply following the tips in the article you will get more traffic and a higher CTR. The article has been already been syndicated by many other sites and is generating decent traffic, which I guess that proves my point.
Kev if you stick to the above your articles will NEVER generate decent traffic or sales. It is a proven fact that short articles which a good punch in the resource box generate good traffic and a good CTR. 1000 word articles are a waste! You should stick to 300 words and make them read the rest of the article on YOUR SITE. That is what article marketing is all about.
Most of my articles are written for people that have some kind of college education. The above is not true. Remember we are talking about articles on Ezines etc hence the reference to the article summary and resource box. Many of those reading the articles find the articles through search engines and are simply looking for a product review or a "how to". It is an article writer's job to feed them a little info and entice them to our site where we can sell our product.
