It depends. 90% of the sites have nofollow and you won't get any link value.

Digg does carry lot of weight though, if you can make it to first page.

Personally I aint keen on it, I think it depends alot on just what type of site your promoting. People on social bookmarking sites want pictures, funny stuff or informative articles. If your a site which is selling products then generally your not going to do well on any of the social bookmarking sites, if your a blog with loads of pictures and good posts then you can do very well from social bookmarking.

I also find that the traffic generated from social bookmarking to be very poor interms of the amount of time the stay on your site and the conversion rate for actual sales of any products, thats just not what the people who use them sites what fromthe service, they want to see something funny and unique.

and also agree with Aryans it's easy way to popular in word wide....

 

Why do people always assume that the traffic is from Digg members and users ? if you are actually using Digg for Digg traffic then you are doing it all wrong ....

I use Digg and Google trends to cash in on traffic and the majority of traffic comes from Google searches alone.
