How good is Prestashop? Is it what I need?

Hey guys, Just getting into Ecommerce seeing as all my other sites haven't done well, figured I would give this a shot. I am lucky enough to have a friend with a auto parts store, and I have made deals with him to get products for cost. I am now looking to open a Online store. I did some research for a template and found one on Templatemonster, however it is only made for PRESTASHOP! I haven't heard much of them so I am unsure how it is, I visited they're site, it seems like they give you the basics and then charge you for overpriced mods if you need them. With my site, I must have a form that asks for they're car make and model plus the year and then show the users parts for that certain one. Just like on http://www.andysautosport.com

Any information on prestashop would be great thanks!

    :D

It seems that you are new with sites. You can go with prestashop they are ok BUT why not go with a light option:
Install something free with free templates ( magento for example ) and play with it. See if you like doing online job, etc.
My idea: it might not work for you and if that the case ... you did not invest in business to much.
