    Hi All,

We are currently developing a local searching site using the framework cakePHP. Now the development is almost over and our client suggested to host this site on the shared host package under Network Solutions.

I rarely heard about this web hosting company, and the look and feel bit more complex than others. If anybody have an experience or near by experience with this Network solutions, please let us know how good is them.

    I mean in every aspect.

    Regards,

    Anish**

Support is good, but the custom control panel is too confusing and I found the servers way too slow. My client switched from a shared (& slow) NetSol package to a NetSol VPS that wasn't much faster - and then switched to Servint.com and is much happier. I wouldn't use any host that didn't offer either the cPanel or DirectAdmin control panel

Network Solutions is one of the first web companies ever and the very first to offer domain registration. Personally, I feel like they are way too expensive, however, they are a recognized and respected company online.

I wouldn't host there, but I am happy with my hosting company.
There many other major companies to choose from for hosting that I think offer better solutions, options, service, for a fair price.

If you are planning on switching to VPS anyway, I would check out Web Air. They offer a crap load of options, plans, and business solutions and keep current with all the latest technologies in hosting.

What ever you choose, just be sure that you go direct to the source (the main company) and not a reseller.

    Thanks,

Can you also suggest best hosting plan/company. It is for developing a local search engine project which needs fast interaction.

If you are looking for just one website to be hosted and fast interaction on a hosted server then siteground.com is also good one , they are bit expensive as they allow only one domain on their basic hosting and every additional is charged, so if you dont want to host more then one domain then its worth
