It would appear I am the only one who has actually used both on this thread - that being said, I prefer Namesilo by far. The only area where Moniker offers a better service is their email forwarding, but since I no longer use mail forwarding services, that does not impact me. Everything else that I use: domain registration, drop-catching, API access, free domain privacy, domain security tools, etc is better and less expensive at Namesilo. Just because others on this thread have never heard of/used Namesilo, does not make moniker better.
I also went with NameSilo and almost transferred all my domains with them. I am very happy with their services
I ahve been using moniker for the past 7 years and never had a problem with them - they are reliable and big.
NameSilo is great and I would actually recommend them over Moniker. For one, their prices are CHEAP..Com's are only like $8.99 On top of that, you get free private whois if you want it
I never use the moniker but I used namesilo. namesilo chatch very useful but only for .com and .net tld I do not know which one is best to use with other tld .com and .net drop catch api if there is any other solution please help me....
We resold domain names with Moniker a couple of years ago when we run as a Reseller and they have a domain backorder/auction platform SnapNames, VP Barb is a nice lady who I met at CNNIC 10th Anniversary Meeting in Zhuhai China, January 2013.
Both are good, I have accounts on both and they have few domains too, I don't get any problem there, I would say.
Moniker is good compared to Namesilo. But for domain auctions, Godaddy Auctions is the best source available.
