How good is e-bay store

I was wondering, how good would be to integrate ebay store on existing web site. I was thinking of integrating in my site, for on line trade, see link in signature below

If any body has any experience of ebay store?

 

why would you want to integrate your own ebay store into your website? Why not just use something like OScommerce so you don't have to pay ebay fee's?

 

May be i could not make it clear. In fact i was thinking of making a dating site, which a section for "Gift Ideas" and in that section, products from e-bay store would be linked.

My query was that how good is ebay sale conversion rate i.e. hits vs conversion rate in ebay?

 

i thinkat that is good idea, this way to increase your traffic and sales

even if i was thinking so, and was just exploring various options as ebay and other such affiliates as to which one sells better

 

The first I thought of when I went to your site is What the heck is this site about?! Can you make that a little clearer to visitors when they enter?

 

I have considered both options. At the present time I am of the opinion that ebay offers the implied security and status that a private store might be lacking and then there is that SSl thing.

I would love to hear what others think as I may want to do this in the next six months.
