yeah pretty simple question on linking How good do you think is a backlink from the blogspot subdomains-i mean free blogs Is a blogspot backlink worth less than a backlink from a standalone domain considering the PR and all other factors on the blog and site remains same I assume both has the same value What is your take?
I prefer the standaolone domain for long term & big project. You need make to a blogspots or some blogspots to reach at least PR3.
Yes i mean all other factors means everything else remains same, including niche, content....everything that can make two sites similar But i dont agree with the ip part of it, how can the ip be the same for all the blogspot subdomains
I wouldn't think it would matter if a link were from blogspot or not. I don't see a blogspot blog becoming an authority site, but other than that, I think a link would count the same, everything else being the same.
Yeah I'm not sure about that either. I don't belive all the blogspots subdomains will have the same IP but there will definitely be a lot sharing the same one.
My guess is the value of the backlink would depend on the authority and relevance of the site. I don't see why a PR3 blogspot backlink would be less valuable then a PR3 domain.com backlink...
Good for nothing as all the links from Blogspot blogs are nofollow. Yes one thing you can have is users clickthrough if you have commented something valuable info that adds the post.
Are you sure they're no follow? I have several links from blogspot blogs that google webmaster tools shows. If they are picked up by webmaster tools, you can safely say its a pretty good link.
Because they work on cloud and hadoop. Basically, the mixture of cloud and hadoop make all that possible. I have done the similar project once. I used a VPS to maintain it. Just pointing the certain range of domain on my any one of the cloud PC and see the main server will just bind the forward to the server. So, a single IP can work for any number.
just depends how much traffic the blog is getting. The more traffic, the stronger the link should be.
Blogspot can provide you very good back links if author is writing something about your website. Links from other places such as sidebar, footer, etc, won't do much...
