Hello all, I have a client who is dealing in sale of organic products for men, women n kids. All I would wanted to know is to which network suits my need? Shall I go with amazon? Havent heard a lot about the affiliate network of amazon? How much does it charge when compared to other affiliate networks like CJ and shareasale? My client has a startup, so we cant recommend him for high end or costly networks......Suggest me please.

    Thank You,

    Choco!

A start up with no money ? Why does he need a program ?
Why not sell his own product ?

Most programs want money up front to insure that you have enough in your account to pay affiliates, plus set up costs..and it's in the thousands.

Some may be cheaper than others, but they have less reach and market share.

I would spend 1/3 the money on a good ecommerce website, professional SEO, web advertising like adwords, and contract with a dependable shipping service.

That's just my opinion. It's a risk either way.

I am not qualified to offer a comparison on programs, but from the stand point of an affiliate marketer (Promoting programs for commission)..you won't find better brand recognition than Amazon, and Ebay right now (I know Ebay is not an option).

Have you considered checking the main online players that have their own eccomerce stores , like Green Home...to see what it takes to get your product added to inventory, and the major retailers like Walmart, Target , Lowes, Sears, Home Depot, and K-mart to get it on the shelves? That still works you know, especially for impulse buys and house stuff.

"Green" is the new "Clear" , and "Eco" is the new "Black" (which makes "Black" the new "Gay"...it's all so confusing), so the iron is hot to strike right now.

Yes, I would like to know too. Plus, in terms of health, beauty, organic products, etc., which are the ones that sell the best?

I don't want to seem to gushy about Amazon, but I have had very good success compared to CJ. I know some are doing well, but I can't figure out how to target the right audience I guess, plus much of the sales are from the Amazon search box on my site. CJ does not have such a feature.

I use Amazon and am happy with it. The trick is to find higher priced items to promote. Since it is a % of the sale price, the higher the price of the item you are promoting, the higher the commission.
