How good are signature links for improved search engine rankings. Like say i have the sig link Boxing Videos for 1000 posts, how good would this be for improved search engine rankings. On back link watch i have noticed a pattern with other forums, that sig links only count as one for each sub forum. So if you have posted once in the "search engine optimization" sub forum than you have the maximum links you can get. As google only accept one backlink per sub forum? Is this right? im getting a bit confused with it. And what would be the benefit of purchasing signature links. When the sig link changes, it means you loose all your backlinks, because automatically for every post since the user started, the new sig code implemented is the sig links for all posts, even ones ten years ago. ??
Sig links aren't very good for anything other than getting pages and sites indexed. They don't pass much (if any) "link juice". Google know what they are and they know how easy it is to get them.
