Well the tittle says it all nearly, i was wondering how re-saleble are 1 word English words (in the English language). Most of them are different in keyword rank but how popular would something like habitant would be or anything along the lines.

    I meant .coms

If you have english dictionary words which you claim have not been registered, I think that should tell your all you need to know about their marketability or resale value.

I agree with the other poster who said they have all been registered - at least all of the ones that have any value were all registered a looong time ago.

Back when 'domain tasting' first started, these names were all snapped up by guys like Kevin Ham and Yun Ye a long time ago.

When you buy the domains you will have to do a lot more. But you'll have a lot more profit.
If you sell the list you don't have to do anything. But your making only a few bucks.

Buy the good domains of the list and sell the list ;).

try joining some of the pro domain forums out there (there's quite a few -dnforum.com namepros.com etc) and get a feel for the flavor from there.

See what is already and previously advised with regards generic dictionary terms in the various advice/appraisal forums - also check some of the domain aftersites which sell dropping/dropped domains (pool.com /snapnames.com) have a look at sedo also.
I've seen a lot of 'reasonable' looking generic dictionary terms drop off myself, BUT observation shows that the primary root word is usually the most valuable term, as opposed to some extended variation - which pluralises or adds some other extended form to it, like an 'ing' or 'ism' ending etc.,
    sensation
    sensations
    sensational
    sensationally
    sensationalism
    sensationalist
    sensationalists
    etc

Whilst all are dictionary terms, they will not all be valuable - the top one will probably be most valuable, whilst most of the other might be lucky to draw the reg fee back.

In some extremely popular niche areas extended words can be more valuable (porn/porno/pornos - get the drift!), but these are the exception rather than the rule.
