    How about you try to provide the end user with the best (that is most informative useful or other) answer to the search query - give that a go you never know it just might work...

    Its depend on Mind game. Everyone doing the Same things but 50% get result and rest get nothing. BTW My SEO strategy is different for my every sites. Whenever Google kick me out of top ten ranking, mostly i do 4-5 press realease and high pr blog comments(still works like a charm).

    The thing is you need to concentrate on natural link building and it would help of course, there is no doubt to it really.

    Apart from natural link building, your links should be relevant, qualitative and from authority sites too.

    Got many top ranks for your own websites in SERPS by doing this then have you? I would say you are more likely advising people how to go and get themselves identified as a forum spammer the way you have just said to go about things...
