How get backlinks with a PR of 4 or more?

All mine seem to be low ones? How do you know whether a site even has a high PR? Thanks for any advice!

 

You can install either seo quake or the google tool bar and this will tel you, It takes time to find good pages that you can post on for free. Most people will sell links this powerful.

 

Thank-you. How would you go about buying a genuine link on a high PR page? (I run a driving school and would ideally like a motoring/driving link)? And is this 'allowed' (buying links)? A lot of my competitiors have gotten to the top by using Yell.com. I have an ad on Yell.com which I pay £90 for, which gives me just one link. They pay a couple of thousand for a bigger ad which provides hundreds of backlinks, (they do this by registering their business to cover every area in England! Even though they don't serve these areas). I can't really afford to pay this. I am at number 3 for my search terms anyway, but would like to get to number 1, and am keen to try out a high PR link to see if it works! Thanks again.

 

Please submit your site address, I want to have a look, these types of sites are usually very easy to rank, I ranked a services site the other day in one week flat. Tell me the town where you live too or the areas you would like to target. I will do some digging for you. I have some special software that will find all the goodies and info.

Onsite SEO is just as important as link building, this is another reason I want to see your site. Google don't pay too much attention to sitewide links like yell but they do help. All you might need to do is make some minor adjustments. I doesn't take a lot to move up a space or 2...

You can get many backlinks from PR4 sites if you do profile creation on those sites. It won't be on the index page, which does not make it so great. Most likely you will have to pay for it. I don't see another way.

That's the system to keep searches relevant, popular sites normally have good content. If you think you can write about keywords and then force your backlinks onto other websites you are mistaken. If that's what you do then I bet it is not with the permission of the sites you get backlinks on. If you have a good site backlinks come naturally. I know this is prob not a popular way to look at it because everyone on here is trying to make a buck, but the net needs good sites that people want to go to on their own. Please no more wordpress blogs with affilate links and article submissions.
