How get back links for a blog ?

I just launched a blog and pointed some of links to my website ...... now i am going to get some back links for the blog .

But i dont know how get back links for a blog or how optimize a blog ?

Please suggest me ......

Well you can keep bookmarking your blog articles on social bookmarking sites,submit it to web directories,you can also exchange blog links with other blog owners.

 

Just treat it as a regular site and do whatever you do with a normal site.

Yes people say right www.yoursite.com/blog is good because the search engines take it as the part of site like other pages of your site but to http://blog.yoursite.com search engines take it as different site so this affects your ranking in search engines.

 

comment on other blogs and leave a linkback to your site

 

Some blog owners take it as spam(i am one of them) and delete the comment ASAP!
So it's no useful to comment on others blog and leave a backlink.It might be that other blog owners do the same because you did this at their blog.

 

so dont post spam comments. leave valuable comments and comment only if you have something to say. if you will comment nicely then i guess they wont delete your link

Me have to ask one more Q :

The blog which i have just launched is separate to my site ( means my website have no links to the blog but i just putted links from blog to my site ). And also the blog URL is not such http://www.mysite.blog.com but it is like this http://www.mycompanyname.blog.com .....

Is it a good idea to have a separate blog ?
And what about the blog URL , is it should like mysite.blog.com ?

(Note: my company name is slightly deferent then the URL, For example my URL Is abc.com and company name abccomputers )

I would prepare SEO wise like a normal site. post all over, add to my sig in forums. leave well written, thoughtful comments in others blogs.

 

Contact bloggers in your niche and do link exchanges.
Buy permanent blog posts, sitewide links, etc.

Do a guest blogging (if you're a good writer).
