    -My web age 5 month if not mistaken..

    Search engine friendliness is not seen by checking the number of indexed pages :)
    In my opinion if your directory is in top of SERPs for many good keywords then it can be called SE friendly..

    I doubt a web site could rank in top for any keyword (SERPs) without having a fair amount of indexed pages.

    Sorry i didnt exactly mean what i wrote..
    SERPs top results need indexing of pages but only indexing of pages do not show the quality and search engine friendliness of a website.. :)
    An article directory can get thousands of pages indexed very fast due to content, but SE friendliness is proved with how much and where it ranks all over.

    SE friendly means that they are not using "nofollow" tags.
    SE optimized means that they are properly using Meta tags, unique keyword rich content.
