How frequently does the Google Directory update?

    Is the Google Directory a work in progress, or is it largely redundant?

    It is the DMOZ, anyone can get the data. Yes, it is redundant, but Google adds PR to the equation. How often they get fresh data is not really known. After getting listed in the DMOZ it took about 3 months for my site to show.

    Thanks for the reply NetWidWest. I've had a DMOZ listing for six months now, but still no sign of the site in the G. Directory.
