How Frequently do you submit a Google Sitemap?

    If some people with popular sites could post how often they update their site and how often they submit a sitemap that would be very helpful.


    I have my site set to submit a sitemap every time a page is edited. I was just wondering if google would get annoyed at this?

    Nope, you can submit it as often as you like.

    google would only be interested in sitemaps that have changes to pages and links correct? for example they would not really be interested in a sitemap that only has content on a page changed.

    Don't worry about it, Google will read the sitemap file when they want to. We submit a new sitemap every 3 days and have no problem. Others, do it nightly with no problem.
