How forum posting will help my site

i am doing forum posting but still i doubt how its help me in terms of seo, ranking, traffic, back links.

pls. provide me some inputs

U need to get some quality inbound links to your site - that is better than forum posting, IMO!

 

You want to vary your linking strategy. Just focusing on one thing (like forum posting) will not get you good rankings. It can be an important piece of the puzzle though.

 

Forum posting at least can give you backlink.The more backlinks that you gain it can help to increase your serps.I admit it from my experience....

 

Forums can be important, but as previously stated it is just one small piece of a very big puzzle.

 

Forums arent the be all and end all by any means. Get a varied link profile - forums, sites, blogs, directories.

 

Don't spam please. I mean registering again and again and trying to answer your own questions. Its un-ethical.

You get backlinks from good pages, you can choose your anchor text and even link to internal pages. Backlinks (specially dofollow) will help your site rank better. If you have something good to offer to forum members, you will get a lot of traffic from forum referral itself.

 

Forum posting does give you backlinks in the case of this forum however some forums do not have do follow links most follow the no follow link tag.

However I do have a feeling that having too many links from a forum such as this one will not benefit your site in anyway as Google would most probably see the links as spam and not regard them at all.

 

As far as I know , forum posting might help you with keywords which don't have much competition. Let's just see , if you wanna hit the keywords "cars" , you may wanna get backlinks from some relevant sources.

 

And... be sure to keep in mind that forum posting should be just one piece of your overall marketing puzzle. Meaning you should be actively doing other types of marketing as well. Such as Blog commenting, Social Bookmarking, Article Marketing, and yes (see sig) YouTube Marketing.

 

When you place your targeted keywords as your anchor text in your signature, it is like telling search engines what your site is about If the bots crawl them, they will get bump up on search engine results.

 

forum posting won't help in anyway with backlinks (or very little), look for more high quality backlinks instead

not so good for backlinks. Forum has tons of links on it, so they have not so much value. However forum is good for anything that requires many ppl - contests etc.

 

I think its good for updating ourself also sharing knowledge.
