Hi guys... Although forum posting is very good from the perspective of getting backlinks. But recently i checked that some(very few) of these forums had started to give no follow links. Because people had started to do a lot of spamming in forum post. Forums can definitely increase the traffic and backlink of your site. So do only good posts in the forums,not for the purpose of only backlinks. Jimmy.

froums posting help in bring traffic and also give some backlinks to ur site, ya this link does'nt gives ur site a big boost. you should be careful by posting comment, not to do it spam or else u will be ban and the signature links that u have given will be removed, there will be a lot waste of time. their are many peoples in this forums who have crossed over 1000 post but for some reasons they are banned. and all the links in their sign are removed.
forum posting helps a lot because it created meaningful back links to your site with keywords... you can get back links using signature links. check http://forums.sharmainfoway.com
well in my opinion..i know a site that gets backlinks from DP has a pagerank of 3!! very good stuff for getting pagerank..
I receive about one visitor a day from Digital Point forums. That's just a drop in the bucket in the big picture, but traffic is not why I'm on DP (I'm here to learn, to stay informed, and hopefully to help others). But 25-35 visitors a month from the forum is better than no traffic.
It's Google Friendly Link. It's generate good traffic if you write post properly related to your niche. Its' Google friendly back link so it also will help to increase your PR
Posting in forum have several advantages: 1. You can get answers for your question by different people. 2. You generate backlinks for you site. 3. You can make your self a brad with good replies. 4. If you reply seriously and in the best way people will start trusting you which can help you a lot in future. 5. Your post with useful information can drive lot of traffic to your site. 6. There are plenty of other benefits you can get by posting in forum like you can publish AdSense ads on this forum etc.
Foum posting is an important method for gaining back links . If you can check my back links , you can see at least 20-30 ...

Forums Posting helps if you post on related forums only. Try to post original post and don't spam forum. This will help to increase traffic towards your website. You need to participate in forums on regular basis if you are looking to get traffic becuase threads disappers as they become old.
i use this forum primarily to drive a few visitors to my blog and and also to learn about seo.thats it.i dont think the PR juice might be useful .
