how fast your website get indexed in yahoo

I think if your site has been indexed and has high rank in yahoo, your rank will automatically will be pushed higher in google, what do you think?

 

I didnt do any link build but my site was indexed by Yahoo very fast, unlike Google which takes about a month.

 

Yahoo is fast when it comes to indexing specially if you work a little bit harder on link building, articles and seo. My site was indexed in 6 weeks as for google took 5 months and still not there yet.

Yahoo loves backlinks ... It is not unusual to see a site indexed in Yahoo before Google.

 

I got indexed within a week for several of my sites. To decrease the wait, submit sitemaps to all the major SEs as well as standard site sumission.

 

Usually a little bit faster than google. But then again, it doesn't take long for google to index my sites anyway since they are usually high quality unique content and have all the right plugins for optimization.

No, you just need to dig the page and it will be indexed within the hour as the site is constantly being crawled by google. I did a site today, it took 1 hour for the page to come up and three hours for the site to be fully indexed. I guess yahoo follow suit, but they do take forever.

 

Still haven't been indexed and I really don't care. I'm focusing on Google.

I guess you just need to focus on your SEO properly and the search engine bots will take care of the indexing part. Most people will focus on google more than the yahoo search engine.

Everyone seems to be getting different experiences - usually i can get indexed on Yahoo very quickly, but this last few weeks I'm getting sites on Google in about 7 days but Yahoo is a little slower to index for me, very odd.
Whats everyones best suggestion to get indexed in Yahoo, has Yahoo changed its indexing recently or is there any reason it might be getting slower.

You should be able to get indexed in Google in 7 - 10 days, 5 months seems a bit odd - what type of site is it?
