HOW FAST should you build links to a 'brand new site' ?

New sites should get ongoing links built slowly, not all at once.

    Question:

-What is a good rate to build incomming links to your brand new site?

-how many links per week/per day/per month?

-and is this rate this the same rate for each different type of link or the same for all types of links?

    Thanks.

Really make manually links from relevant site is good , if use some tootle make 100 in a minutes will cause problem. otherwise daily 50, 100 no problem. Also after few months can buy links from any forums who have something like 2k+ posting. Anyhow start from little and slowly increase is better.

You cannot get too many links too quickly if you're manually and naturally building links. I've been doing so for quite some time, sometimes hundreds per day, and have yet to ever see a penalty for doing so. Just use several different techniques and vary your anchor text between 2-5 targeted keywords and you'll be fine.

As explained above you can get as many as you like as long as you're getting them manually. Don't use any automated software and don't use the same keyword for all (this gets u sandboxed faster than having a lot of links in a short time). It's important to have your links incoming steadily/rising slowly for a while.

I doubt you have anything to worry about richkid, it shouldn't be humanly possible to comment on enough blogs to do you any harm haha

One vital point you're all forgetting to mention is before you start link building at all - make sure you have a sufficient amount of content on your site.

Content is king. there's no point building links and getting organic traffic to a site with 3 pages/posts... build up your site first with between 10-20 pages/posts full of content. Then spend an hour or two a day building your links.

Google is not stupid and as long as you're not doing any spammy link building methods, they will be fine with you getting x amount of links per day.. it's all about how much time your willing to spend on it.

Commenting will not harm you - but make sure your comments are useful so they don't get deleted and waste your time.

A lot of people tend to usee semi-automatic software, which slows down the process of submission but looks more natural for a link building pace.

For a brand new site, I would suggest not more then 10 links a day.
After 1-2 months, you can go up to 50-100 links.

I would suggest every month increasing the links a little at a time till eventually you can do hundreds in one day but i dont suggest hundreds in one day becuase then you will end up hending for trouble. Trust me I've seen it happen.

I submit about 4 articles a week to article directories for the first 2 weeks, then after that I really start ramping up my link building efforts.

It seems to work okay, for Google hasn't penalized me yet.

I link build a NEW site by starting making a blog about it. Then, I start putting the links on the different forums I've already joined before.

Then, I starting commenting on different related blogs (even a no-follow will do!); I also social bookmark it.

I think a slow and steady incremental/gain should be a good strategy so that it looks natural.

"Too many links" is a problem experienced by few.

As long as you're working by hand, you can't add links too fast.

I think there should be 2 natural curves showing the rate of gaining links to a new site.

The first one is steep right from the beginning and then the curve continues to flatten - that's for sites like twitter for example. Those sites gain a huge amount of links from the beginning, G. understand that and there's no penalty.

The second curve implies to the majority of sites - flat and then steeper since you need time to optimize & promote the site.

Anything in between the 2 curves doesn't seem natural you may get penalized.
    Any thoughts?

i think that it depends on how many links you could build in a single day. Build only back links that you can keep your pace because Google will penalized your site once you can't keep the same number of links flowing.
