Hi guys, Just wondering how many links i should be getting per day for a brand new site and domain. I've added to many links in the past and have been sandboxed im pretty sure. Any insight would be great. Thanks ahead
I usually go by 10-20 links per day for the first 6 months. After that you can begin to ratchet up the backlinks.
Do you still get good results off the bat doing 10 links a day? I would have thought that would be too much for a brand new site. Also where do you get these links my man? I've been using senuke and it has seemed to do very well for getting social bookmarking and hub site links.
Slowly increase the number of links. Not good to have 10-20 links per day. May be i think its like spamming. Go slow and steady. Then your site will get good results.
slowly starting is better always, if working with forums weekly update new forums to the list. Making manually daily as much u can no problem. Avoid any tool to do
I always start a new site off with articles. Before someone can naturally link to you they need to find your site. Articles act as a naturally way for people to find your site and increase your links. After a month or so of articles I start link normal building. Works ok for me.
I would say get a reasonable amount of links proportional to the amount of content and traffic that you have. Personally, I always start by creating content that I want to build links for, and then start building links to that content. For example, I might do like 3 posts a day and then for each post do one or two article submissions, some blog comments, social bookmarking, etc... It's about having a nice mixture of links relative to how much content you have. Also, if you have something that picks up a ton of links, that's a good thing. Just don't do something stupid like buy a bunch of links early on just to get indexed or ranking fast. SEO is a marathon, not a sprint
Thanks guys i appreciate your insight. Do any of you use any tools to automated the linking process at all?
All new sites are placed into the "sandbox". While you are in the sandbox, the links you get should be limited to on-topic links that generate traffic. If you do recriprocal linking, Google will bust you at ~50 links per month. If you getting them from blogs/Forums (Sig links), then ~250 per month. More if they are on-topic. Now if you are posting "articles with links" (Links embedded in content), then it is unlimited.
whatever you do, do the same amount every day. Or at least the average amount every day, if Google looks and see's you got 200 links one day and zero the next it will raise a red flag.
I don't know if anyone really knows the exact answer since backlinks is one of many variables that affect your site. As a general rule start slow, gain links every day, and slowly increase overtime. It's really very simple to plan but very difficult to stay focused and execute.
4-5 backlinks - constantly updated.there should not be rise or fall in backlinks - like one day getting about 60 and for the next week getting only 1 or 2 backlinks .
SLowly but sure. I would go for 1-2 link per day but only trade with those site who have great content in it, i won't see the PR of the site. (PR is dead anyway)
