    hello
am planning to buy a script from a coder,we are now considering about escrow now.
    1. how fast is escrow ?
am planning to pay with credit card,so that shouldn't take much long right.

2.how much time it will take to release the funds after the work is finished ?

3.how reliable is it ? is it the most safe one,or is there any other which is better ??

4.how much commission do they take ?

any members who have previous experience with escrow, please answer my questions.
    thank you all

I personally think escrow is very unreliable. They're very easy to exploit by scammers, and I've read alot of horror stories online. I've never used them myself, so I don't know about commission fees. But, one of my close friends got seriously fucked out of $xxxx's because the person he was buying from exploited the escrow system, and got away with it.

Unreliable and unsafe. Stay away. I would just try and stay away from escrow services in general, and try and work something else out. Like sending him a quarter of the cost, and having him send you part of the product. Then, sending him another quarter for another part, and so on until the transaction is complete.

I like escrow if you are paying more than $300 otherwise it isn't worth it and just do PayPal.

Its good for big amounts (like over 1k$)

I've used them only once and everything was fast. I got my money via wire transfer within 3 business days.
