Joomla is a professional web-design platform. However, though professional, joomla seems to pit a news publisher in a fix sine it is slow to index. Am still wondering if other Joomla users have a similar problem especially when you publish dynamic content and you want it to index fast.... Can someone explain and offer a solution ...something that can increase the speed of indexing....
The indexing or not of your site is not connected to Joomla. If you think of the web as a connected place, the search engines will come to your site sooner if you have a link to it from an active site that is getting indexed regularly. When you see those offers of people selling you the information ; "Get your site indexed in less than 24 hours or less !" it is because they know what you know now. Just get a link from some place like a popular article directory. Joomla does not have any problem with a domain being indexed. I have great results.
Pick a great forum that allows a resource box and post with your backlink in the resource box. This has been the fastest method for me.
Try to get some backlinks from article posting and active in forums with your live link. You will get indexed soon..
Hi David, It does not matter for Google index the site has designed and development in the Jommla or other platforms. For fast index you need to follow some following steps. 1-Create a xml sitemap and submit it into the Google Webmaster tool. 2-Do bookmark for your site, Submit it into top good bookmaking sites like digg, mixx, delicious, faves, reddit Within a day you can get index by Google.
always try to give back links from article posting, active and live webpage in forums with your live link. You will must get indexed quickly
The indexing process depends on many factors, this includes content quality, page rank, website speed, etc.
I would think the same as any other website. One thing good about Joomla is that when it does get indexed, Google seems to like the SEF pages. Joomla has free components that can do that for you. As well as a setting in the admin.
