When you setup a blog or some other website, I would like to know how fast do you actually start to get even the slightest traffic from Google for your keywords?
24 hrs on a video site. this is my personal experience. no jokes. site was listed in google in a couple of hours of making and started receiving traffic in less than a day's time.
Usually a site should get indexed in a week's time if you build up your link gradually and your site has quality keyword-rich content. After that, depending on where you rank in SE search, traffic should start flowing in soon after that.
I started getting it in a few days time. As long as you have plenty of quality content, it shouldn't be that much of a problem
This is very interesting... I've been building my site for a few weeks now (it's a blog) and it's indexed and all but I'm not getting ANY search engine traffic.. even though I've carefully set my site title and description keywords correspond my niche. But it could be that I'm trying to break into too saturated niche. It's travel niche. Millions of other website competing on same genre.. Guess I have to start looking for other niches now.
If properly designed/developed and done good seo work can get SE traffic in a week or less.. May be there is something wrong with your blog or in your SEO effort.. One thing i would like to say.. why u have not added your blog link in your signature of DigitalPoint Forum..
One week seems too fast. It took 2 months for me to start seeing Google traffic, and it is low volume so far. Maybe it also depends on what keywords you are targeting.
Hmm.. That's right and I would like to add article marketing and press release submission. Do all three and you can get traffic within a few hours. No joke!
If you have the marketing skills, you can draw visitors immediately. I got visitors to one of my sites on the day of launch itself
Well, now that I think of it, it must be the content I was using. It wasn't unique so that could be the problem. AND my niche selection was bad. Too saturated. I used my site in my signature, but I'm moving to another niche now so thats why I took it off.
And also: if my sites title, description, meta and content are using right keywords for my niche, shouldn't that be enough to start getting SE traffic when it's indexed?
this is a nice thread i dont know how u guys get traffic in one or two weeks from search engines.. it took me 2 months for my last site to get traffic from search engines...
